League Format: The league will take place over 9 competitions throughout the year.
Competition Format is based on a Fita 900 round

archeryrangeThe River Range League is based on a FITA 900 round and consists of the official FITA 900 round along with 5 step-backs from it. Archers shoot 6 arrows at a time.

Advancement

Beginner Senior, Junior and Cadet start at level 2. Once an archer hits a score of 650 or more they must progress to the next level, unless they are already at their maximum distance for their age-category.

There will be nine league stages through the year. The total of each archer’s top 4 scores will be their league-score for the year.

The final stage will be a WRS FITA 900 shoot. To compete in this final, each archer must have submitted a minimum of 3 scores, to make this their 4th for the league.

30 arrows will be shot at a 120cm face at each of the distances in the table below:

How to Get Involved

There will be shoots held regularly during the year at the River Range in Enniskerry, practice butts start at 9.30, and the competition starts at 10. Check our calendar for the next competition.
