Change of day and venue for outdoor shooting
Over the summer months the club will shoot on a Thursday night from 6.30 till dark in St. Brendans College.
We will also be starting a field archery shoot night every second Friday starting Friday the 23rd of June. This will run from 7 till dark and will be in Dargle Valley Golf Course in Enniskerry. It will cost 3 Euro to attend each session.
Rohan gets second qualifying score
Rohan O'Duill posted a second qualifying score in the British field championships at the end of May. This makes him the first Irish Person to qualify for the World Field Archery Championships. The Competition is being staged in Sweden at the end of August. Over 250 archers from around the world will be competing.

Setting up and down the targets
Every week there is work to do in the club. Setting up and down the targets and the beginner's bows. At the moment the same people do this work every week.
We are asking people to stay back and help set down every week as this is a club and the work should be shared between everyone. Thanks in advance.
Fund Raising Committee
The club is planning on setting up a fund raising committee to organise events in the near future. We would appreciate some help on this matter. Anyone interested in joining the committee can talk to Rohan.
New Members
Over the past month the club has grown with six new members, bringing the total membership to 40. This is the largest the club has ever been and makes it one of the biggest clubs in the country. Hopefully this trend will continue and looks lightly to do so with another group of enthusiastic beginners just started.
Strings
Niall is now making strings to order so if anyone needs a replacement they can ask him. Fast flight strings are 12 euro and D75 strings are 16 euro.
