Outdoor Target League Rules

- A Wicklow archer representative will determine the distance for new competitors under the following guidelines
- If the archer has competed at a national level, they will shoot at the maximum distance.
- If the archer is a member of a national squad, they will shoot at the maximum distance.
- If the archer shoots as a beginner and submits a score of 760 or above, they will advance 2 distances
- Any Archer found to have been dishonest regarding their ability will be disqualified
- You must advance to the next distance after achieving 650 points.
- If you submit a score for the incorrect distance it will not be counted
- Your scorecard must be completed in full, or your score may not be counted
- It is the Archers responsibility to be aware of the distance they must shoot; however, a Wicklow Archer representative will have previous scores for reference.
- Once you achieve one of the following level/score combinations you will be automatically advanced to the elite category
- Compound (Level 5) 850 points
- Recurve (Level 5) 770 points
- Barebow (Level 4) 720 points
- Once you advance to a higher level, you cannot go back
- All Archers including non-club members must submit a minimum of 4 scores to be eligible for a medal.
- Winners will be determined by the sum of the highest 3 scores they submit
